The first article I found is call simply; Separation of
church and state. The link is http://www.2facts.com/icof_story.aspx?PIN=i0402110&term=Separation+of+church+and+state.
This article is credible because it comes from a well-known database, Facts on
file. Also it is very relevant and
appeals to my topic and readers. It also has listed many good sources such as
News articles written by people who study this field.
This source is helpful and will be a good use to me because
of its statistics as well as its large array of information. It covers anywhere
from the history to Supreme Court cases to campaigns. It also does a good job
of not being too biased when it speaks of such a controversial topic.
A second article I found on Facts on File is titled: The
Issue. The link is http://www.2facts.com/icof_story.aspx?PIN=i1800020&term=Separation+of+church+and+state.
This article is also from facts on file, which I believe to be a credible
source. Also the information comes from many books, newspapers, and even the Smithsonian.
I found this source to be helpful because of its many facts
and graphs. It also dates information back to our founding fathers and what
they believed. It shows both sides of the argument, which I think is a good
thing so you can see where the other people are coming from. It touches on
church and schools as well as church and the government.
